Hey, I’m Alan Miller, creator of Beyond the Calm—a dark, character-driven fantasy series set in a world where magic’s fading and nothing is what it seems.
I didn’t grow up dreaming of being an author. I just had a story in my head that wouldn’t shut up until I wrote it. One idea turned into a continent, a history, and a cast of characters I couldn’t walk away from.
